Each group is facilitated by experienced professionals and guided by evidence-based practices. While every participant’s journey is unique, sharing experiences and learning together can make a meaningful difference. Crystal River

Ostomy Support Group

We understand that living with an ostomy can bring unique challenges—physically, emotionally, and socially. Our Ostomy Support & Education Group is here to provide a safe, welcoming space for individuals with an ostomy, regardless of their cancer diagnosis, to connect, learn, and thrive.

Led by experienced professionals, this group offers both practical guidance and emotional support. Participants will have the opportunity to share experiences, ask questions, and explore strategies for navigating life with an ostomy.

Topics include:

  • Expert education on ostomy care and available supplies
  • Tips for adjusting to daily life with an ostomy
  • Understanding the impact on intimacy and relationships
  • Coping strategies to support emotional well-being

Meetings: Third Wednesday of every month from 3:00pm - 4:00pm in the Third Floor Orthopedic Conference Room at Tampa General Hospital Crystal River.

Parkinson's Support Group

Join us at Tampa General Hospital for a welcoming and informative support group for individuals living with Parkinson’s disease and their caregivers. Connect with others, share experiences, and learn practical tips for managing symptoms and maintaining quality of life.

What to expect:

  • Expert-led discussions on treatment and symptom management
  • Strategies for staying active and independent
  • Support for emotional well-being and caregiving
  • Together, we build strength, share hope, and support each other every step of the way.

Meetings: Third Thursday of every month at 3:00pm in the Tampa General Hospital Crystal River cafeteria.
