Unlike a typical urgent care center, TGH Crystal River Emergency Center is fully equipped to address life-threatening illnesses and injuries, such as:

  • Heart attacks
  • Strokes
  • Head trauma
  • Uncontrollable bleeding
  • Severe allergic reactions
  • Complex bone fractures

With a team of board-certified emergency room physicians, registered nurses and lab technicians available 24/7/365, TGH Crystal River Emergency Center provides the same level of care as a hospital ER. However, we do so in a much more convenient, welcoming and comfortable setting—and typically with a shorter wait. Should we determine that a patient requires hospitalization, we will immediately begin their initial treatment, stabilize them and arrange for their transfer to the closest TGH North hospital, helping to ensure fully streamlined care.
